Esther’s School opens in Seminole
SEMINOLE - In 2005 Esther Berry, a mother with a Down’s syndrome child, felt compelled to open Esther’s School with no money and a total of two students in St. Petersburg.
Scholarship opportunity available
High school freshmen, sophomores and juniors are invited to apply for new scholarship opportunity in the Tampa Bay area by the American College Foundation.
Students begin classes Aug. 24
On Aug. 24, nearly 104,000 students in grades K-12 are expected to walk into Pinellas County public schools, as classes begin for the 2010-11 school year.

Registered voters have between now and Aug. 24 to cast their ballots to decide who will fill four seats on the Pinellas County School Board.
