TAMPA - The Salerno Theatre Company and its parent company, Salerno Entertainment, will host open auditions for the 2010-11 mainstage and touring seasons on Saturday, Sept. 4, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the studio rehearsal hall at Carrollwood Cultural Center, 13345 Casey Road.
CLEARWATER - The producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated smash-hit musical Rock of Ages announced the cast that will rock the nation in the 60-city, first national tour. The musical will make its exclusive Tampa Bay area premiere at Ruth Eckerd Hall for eight performances beginning Jan. 18, 2011.
TARPON SPRINGS - Thornton Wilder's American classic: Our Town, directed by Abbott Morgan, comes to the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10-12, 17-19.
