Info sessions set for teacher's program

TAMPA – The U.S. Department of Education-backed nonprofit, American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence, is hosting free information sessions about its Teach and Inspire Scholarship program.
This program offers full scholarships toward ABCTE teaching certification along with a $1,000 stipend after course completion. Those accepted into the program must make a three-year commitment to teach in a high-need Florida school and the high-need subjects of math, science or special education.
Sessions will be offered on Thursday, July 16, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and Suites Busch Gardens, 11310 N. 30th St., Tampa and also on Saturday, July 18, 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at the John F. Germany Library, 900 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa.
